| boarding kennel or not?
We will be traveling for two weeks. Usually Troy stays at a boarding kennel when we are gone. This time my brother in law will be staying at our place. The suggestion arose that Troy could stay home with him. My brother in law used to have GSDs and is an experienced dog handler, however he is less strict then I am.
How important is it for the dog to be at home even when we are not there in comparison to being at the kennel.
I fear that Troy will pick up some undesirable habits while I am gone, staying with my brother in law. I am happy to deal with these if it makes Troy feel better staying at home, but I am not sure how much it will matter to him.
