8 month old female rescue

I have an 8 month old female that just started being a member of my home. She came come from a loving family that was not able to keep her due to health problems in the family.

She has had not had any formal obedience training.

THe first day she was very clam and spent most of the day sleeping by my feet. Day two is much more comfortable and the following behavior is showing.

When walking in the yard only she wants to grab your feet as you walk. No pressure just grabs on when your feet move.

I have had particiapted in obedience classes and usually a stern "no" would suffice for a correction. When you give her a stern no, she looks at you barks and keep on going with what she was doing.

Will be taking her to classes in two weeks when the class starts.

Should I keep her on a lead in the house for a bit until she responds to a corrective no?

She is a beautifull girl and a great temperment and the typical rotti I want to be by you or touching you all the time :-).

This is my first rescue my other rotti was raised from a puppy by me.

All help would be greatly appreciated.
