Does your contract allow you any recourse in court? Maybe if the breeder is taken to court she might discontinue these unethical practices? Worth a try.

Again, I am sorry. I would suggest that your put your boy on one of the joint medications to keep him lubricated as much as possible and to allow him freedom of movement without pain for as long as possible.
