I might take exception with this. I never give affection (well hardly ever) when Doc comes over and demands it. We call him to us regularly for pets, butt scratchs, and cuddles. Although he really don't like the cuddling, he does like laying right next to us when he is chewing. But he has NEVER expressed aggression over an item...

Basically remember affection is a powerful tool, and if your dog thinks it can demand it it may be thinking other things as well...
