Could be soap residue from the frequent bathing. Can I ask why he is bathed so often??
Ben has had, I think, 5 baths in the 5 years he has been here with me. Baron has been here a year - got a bath the day he came to us (cuz he stank like the shelter!) and got a bath about a month ago...probably won't get another one until next year unless he tsarts to smell really 'doggy'.
Both dogs smell very clean - they are brushed at least 3 times a week which keeps dirt outta the coats. I also use a product called Minute Groom - got it on QVC - works like a charm - smells like Froot Loops cereal! Here's a link to it --->
