| As Mary said, you can never have too many crates. I have 4 in the van, 2 in the office, 1 in the bedroom, 3 or 4 stored in my shed and at least 2 out on loan.
Having 2 crates should not confuse the puppy at all. Another idea, and what I do, is set up an x-pen in the living room. It gives more room like a playpen for a baby.
