| Sounds like you got a dog with no training. Welcome to the club! But mine was already 2 1/2 yrs. old, so he was a bit more settled due to his age.
He has no manners, so you will have to teach that to him. It does wonders to mentally stimulate a dog as well as to keep the dog from jumping on you.
Are you a runner? Maybe a good run with the dog will burn off some of that energy? If nothing else, make sure the dog is getting a nice long walk each day.
