| I would also like to see the ARC change the standard to allow the breeders to decide what they'd like to do with their puppies, when that time came, without the dog being an outcast in the show ring later. We could always conform to the ADRK's standard for a correct tail.
I've always liked the look of a docked tail on a Rottie, but feel that it is much healthier for the dog if the tail is left on. The same goes for dewclaws.
I've competed against tailed Rotts in Canada and I really don't see what the big deal is since they met the standard. They are still Rottweilers, after all! |
