I completely agree with you that certain steps need to be taken by someone looking to add a new rottweiler puppy including researching potential breeder...

I just wanted to point out that it doesn't always take a long time to find the right puppy/breeder.....If you have your heart set on a particular breeding or want certain lines in puppies pedigree or have specific working/showing desires than the equation gets more complicated...
