| Every dog I own is chipped. Every puppy I place, rescue or one I bred is also chipped and the chip stays in my name for the life of the dog.
Personally I think everyone who places dogs or pups should be required to chip them, then these strays at shelters could be tracked and people held accountable in addition to dogs finding their owners
AVID and Home again can be read by all shelter scanners
