| You'd think if a sanctioning body was holding a show under rules that differed from their own, they'd make it clear to all entrants exactly which rules they intended to use.
And you'd think that any foreign judge would have enough common sense to acknowledge the differences between the two sets of rules and make the appropriate allowances as a simple courtesy to the sanctioning body, the club, the PAYING exhibitor, and the dog. Duncan WAS the only dog in the class, for cryin' out loud!!
It sounds to me like the USRC needs to get it's act together on the rules issue, and the judge was just being a jerk. An email apology??? The USRC should have FedEx'd an award to Duncan along with a half dozen free-entry coupons for upcoming shows, just on general principles. I'd be seriously P.O.'d, too.
