| I had a GSD with cloudy eyes. I think he was 7 or 8 when the problem started. My vet referred us to an animal opthalmologist (the same guy who does the eye certs around here). It was a degenerative eye disease, but it could be managed with the proper meds. We caught it early and he retained most of his sight until we put him to sleep following a stroke at age 12.
