| Licorice is actually an immune system modulator...strengthens and fortifies...does not boost. Allergies are the immune system's inappropriate response to what it PERCEIVES as the enemy. A healthy, balanced immune system would react appropriately. I hope this works for the pugs..let us know !
BTW...dairy products , even in tiny amounts cause mucous build up in the system, and mucous is a breeding ground for allergens and bacteria. ALL dairy products.
I am happy you have a vet who is so forward thinking :o))
