| I had a previous male (not Rottweiler) neutered when he was a couple of years old. The only thing that really changed on him was he didn't wake me up to go out at 3:30 a.m. anymore... He did gain some weight, but I'm not sure it was necessarily because of him being neutered.
You did the right thing!
