My rottie will be 5 mths old on January 11th and my question is...What is a typical weight for that age? He is 40-43lbs now. I am not concerned that he is underweight, it's just that I want to know if now is a good time to switch him to adult food. I've heard 4-6 mths is a good time to switch but only if the dog is at a healthy weight. I know my dog is healthy, but I don't want to switch him too early. Anyone who knows a general weight that it is acceptable to switch foods at, please let me know. Thanks, Sarah |
