I will look in to classes, I do want what is best for my baby, she listens to us very well for only having her for 5 days, the only problem that we cant seem to over come is she doesnt like to be outside alone. We have a dog stake in the ground with a chain. whenever we go inside or walk too far away (out of her reach) she goes crazy? any advice?

My advice would first get that darn stake and throw it away. Chaining a dog is a bad idea. Next do a search of the forums to find out why it is a bad idea.

Then, after you have made an appointment with a trainer, pick up a couple of books: "Rottweilers for Dummies" and Culture Clash" are 2 good ones to start with.

Come back to the forum and read, read, read.

I am glad you felt you got a good deal on your dog and of course you love her but also do a search on responsible breeders so you can do better in the future.

And most of all: Stay here! These folks know Rottweilers and have a vast amount of knowledge to share. I have learned so much from them. Please don't be thin skinned about some answers you may get. Folks here don't mince words and I am thankful for it!

Welcome aboard and happy learning!
