I use a regular harness, with a seatbelt attachment. If you feel that is not long enough, you can use the attachment on the Dog Control Leash.

Here's the attachment style I use, its the one that buckles into the female part of the seatbelt.

I don't like the harnesses that slide through the strap of the seat belt, my dog would want to chew it.
