| Thanks for all your help. The advice I received was bang on. It cost me $620 US to ship the dog. The dog travelled from Brussels to London Eng and spent the night and was shipped the following day to Toronto Canada. The cost was slightly higher because it was a nondirect flight and the original crate was deemed to be to small by the Brits so we had to go to an intermediate size crate. It's unfortunate there wasn't a direct flight to Toronto or Detroit but this worked out pretty well. The pup has adjusted well to our home and is chasing the rag with a fury. I can't wait to see him hit a sleeve when he gets older.
In the future I would seriously consider flying over and bringing the pup back with me as luggage. The cost would be slightly higher but atleast I could make a vacation out of it. My dog is from Vom Schloss Hexental Kennel. |
