We have 70 acres and you can't see our house from the road. We still fenced a portion of our back yard (abt 1-1/2 acres). Just because you have 40 acres doesn't mean your dog might not get off your property; Joanne's comment about the road is valid.
Fence a portion of your yard. It's been a huge convenience for us and I'm so glad we did it. |
