Personally, I would be completely grateful to my breeder if she were to do that for me if I was in that scenerio. I would offer to pay for what was needed for an unexpected little one staying...Vaccines....food...kennel. You think of a cost of what a dog sitter costs, that would be nothing. And the puppy has extra socialization time, exellent...... I know what it means to have a breeder do this favor. Mine was willing to hold on to him until I was able to pick him up. She was even the one who told me not to be crazy and drive in a snow storm to pick him up 7 hours away.....HE HE HE I did anyways
