She is 12 weeks old. Thanks for the information on just using command so as not to confuse her. The way that we are showing her that we are alpha is making her sit to do anything (eat, go outside, put on leash). Also we make sure that we go out the door first and then allow her. We learned that if we play with her we (myself, husband, and son) must always end up with the toy. I should tell you that we have two other dogs. A older male mix breed dog 14 years and then a 2 year old male pure breed toy fox terrier. Both dogs control Abby (new puppy). She backs down to them and roll over to show her tummy.
