Puppys bite and play and even with constant correction it could take awhile to learn. Be consistant with your training (Ex: "No bite" and walk away EVERY time, not trying different things each time) and your pup will learn with some time. What are you doing to "show her the family is alpha", and how old is she? What things are occuring when she bites/growls?
I googled "dog training" and "puppy class" with my state name and it helped me with finding a trainer. Try it out and make sure to check out the class yourself before you commit/bring your puppy. I will be driving about an hour and a half each way, but the class is excellent in my opinion so it's worth it for my girl. |
