It is with a heavy heart that I type this post...Reba died this past Sunday at our home. She was diagnosed with lymphoma in Dec.
She was doing so well until Saturday. She took a short walk. Shortly after, she became ill and rather quiet. She spent some time out in the yard under the picnic table and one of the big pine trees. She would not eat anything only drink a bit of water. She had a restless night.
On Sunday she found a favorite spot in our family room. My husband and I talked of talking her into the emergency vet. I looked over and she appeared to be asleep but was slighlty twitching as if in a dream. The movements continued for almost two minutes. She was having a siezure. I called the vet and Reba was gone....
This is the first time since 1988 that our home has been without a dog. I swear it seems like a tomb. I miss her so...
