| Re: how do i stop 9 wk puppy from biting? young pups don't know what is acceptable and what is not, it is your job to teach them this. This goes for all behaviour, not just the biting. It is not fair, and confusing to the pup if you change the rules in the middle of the game. So think about what you want from your full grown, 100# adult dog, and set those rules in place NOW.
No chewing on skin, EVER. No "up on the sofa" or bed, unless you like to sit and sleep on the floor!, and start teaching some basic manners, like sharing toys and food.
Our pup at 12 weeks old was house trained and did not bite any of us, because we had a clear set of rules from day 1!
Have fun with your pup, they don't stay this way for long!!!
