New puppy moved in.

A couple weeks ago I asked about our “puppy” Brandy and our niece’s new puppy.
Well their puppy moved in with us a coupe days ago. Her son got really sick and they had to take him to the hospital (not related to the puppy). He was then transported to a children’s hospital about an hour away. He was admitted and will be there for about 2 weeks. My niece and her husband are both up with him near by the hospital and the puppy needed some one to watch him.

On the first night here Brandy went around the house and picked up all he toys and hides them. She even took some of the puppy’s toys as well. The puppy was a little nippy and we were working on correcting that, and Brandy stepped in. When the puppy starts to get nippy Brandy whispers in his ear (sometimes louder then a whisper) and then brings out a toy and takes it to the puppy for a little game of tug, but only after the nipping stops.
Now they were also in the process of house training. Brandy is also giving a hand with that too. When the puppy is out of his crate when she thinks he needs to go potty she’ll take him to the door. We are taking them both out at the same time and when he sees her going he does too. The puppy has been here since Friday and he's had no accident in the house.

The only thing that’s a “concern” to me is Brandy’s noise level. Sometimes when they are playing her grumbling is really loud. Up until the introduction of the puppy Brandy has never really been a talker. Also just wondering how much we should allow her to give corrections.
