I was online yesterday and I ordered my pups Four generation AKC for her Damn and Sire. To my surprise, I saw in the family tree, that quite a few of the Rotties did not have the OFA # next to their name. I am very upset because I was told that the hips of my pups mother were OFA cert.. When I look by her name no OFA #. Does this mean her hips where never certified? Or is it something that they will only post with show title dogs?I am a bit upset with my breeder because I called to speak with her and she informed me that she is on the second try of breeding my pups mom to Champ. The first try didn't take. Did you ever hear the saying "you find out after the fact". What bothers me is that my pup is only 10 months old and my breeder is already mating her mother again. Is this normal? If my pups mom is not OFA certified would the owners of Champ breed him to her? Could you guys help me out. I am confused.
