Deep sockets and good fitting joints are not the only aspects studied. They also study to see if any changes have occured. This would appear in such slight degrees that only trained eyes can notice. The problem is sometimes the quality of the Xray causes doubt. That is why OFA allows and suggest resubmittals. Most Vets do not have the best equipment, and their xrays are often lacking. The best Vets to do these types of Xrays are orthopedic surgens, typicaly their equipment can produce a much more detailed xray.
