Thank you Baren. Interestingly enough, the male I already have is a littermate to the one I'm getting back. He was also returned to me. Originally sold to a person with impeccable references, long background in dogs, obedience, blah, blah, blah. After I got the dog back I found out he'd probably been crated something like 20-23 hours a day; been bullied by an older Belgian Sheepdog; etc. This was a top obedience prospect and also could have been a good SchH dog. He's now being shown in conformation and has a Best in Show from the classes in Canada & was # 5 Rott in Canada for 1998. However, I MIGHT be able to get a CD on him but he has problems with separation anxiety because of his background. So I won't even think of trying for a CDX. He's an escape artist & has to be kept in a chain link, covered run when I'm not home. He will dig under fences and break out of crates. Unfortunate legacy of a bad first home
