Actually Canidae didn't sell, it was rumor. I think it is a great choice if your dog does well on it, and for a super premium food, it seems to be the best value. I paid $34.99 last week for a 40 lb. bag and got 2 free tennis balls (which lasted about 4 minutes here).
The bag lasts us 3-4weeks when it was just Jake.
There are so many good kibbles to choose from that whatever you decide will be great. Check to see if it is available in your area, the only place I can buy Canidae and Cal Natural is at one pet store, and I live in the biggest city in MT
And I can't even find any Wellness here at all.
