| Re: Questions possibly pregnant Rott This is a shame. I do not fully understand if the bitch was sold as a pet, why she could not have been spayed before her first heat? I can't help but think that the breeder wanted her intact so that she could be bred at a later date? To leave a pet intact leaves the door open for accidents. Even if she had not gotten mixed up in the wrong kennel, the fact that she was in heat could have been disasterous in itself. Males have clawed there way through kennels & fencing to get to bitches in heat & she could have been bred through the fencing itself. I too would opt for spaying the bitch at this point.
