Telling the facts as they are is NOT defamation of character and while they could try to sue you for it, they wouldn't get anywhere and would waste a lot of money. Telling someone in California (the breeder) about a kennel in Ohio is not going to lose them an appreciable amount of business. BS idle threats from a scared, obnoxious kennel owner. She should be profusely apologizing to you, Nick and the breeder.
