Questions possibly pregnant Rott

I'm in a mess here and not sure what to do. My friend Nick is out of town until February 1st. He has a female Rottweiler that is 21 months old. He has her boarded at a kennel right now. I guess last night when the workers where cleaning runs and taking dogs out to go for a walk his dog got mixed up with another dog and his dog wound up in the wrong kennel. She wound up with another male dog but she isn't fixed and they think she is in heat. So anyways he called me and wanted to know if Dan or I could go pick her up and take her to the Vet to figure out what we could do.

I'm supposed to pick her up tonite when Dan gets home from work. However I have called my Vet already to make her appointment and told him what is going on and I'm not sure what route to take here. According him these are my options:

1. I could wait 21 days to get a pregnancy test done. If positive then he could do a late term abortion on her but the shot would cause her to throw up, have diarrhea and she could lose bone marrow.

2. I could bring her in next week and have her spayed but he says Rottweilers run a risk of bone cancer when they are fixed.

3. I could just wait it out and if she is pregnant let her have the pups.

I have talked to Nick about the options and he says he defintily couldn't handle puppies so to figure out which of the other two options comes with the has the least risk? He does dog agility with her and she is very well bred. He does not ever want to breed her but she isn't fixed yet because he has to wait until she is 24 months old according to his contract with the breeder.

So anyhow my question is out of option 1 and 2 which runs the least risk.

Thanks in advance
