I just realized, you are the same one who wondered about the pup drinking all the water. After reading this, I wonder, could the breeder have damaged your pup's kidneys by beating him?
Take your pup to a vet and find out if this is a possiblity. If so, you might be able to have criminal charges brought against the creep.
