1. Sadly enough, those morons won't stop at all until there is some sort of unified legislation or governing body imposing some serious policies, rules, and effective enforceable controls on dog breeding and litter registrations.
2. Imagine, a so-called "breeder" beating up his stud dog... do you really think would offer a binding contract? A temperament guarantee? Come on Robert, be serious. That guy is a disgusting character.
3. Civil court on what grounds?... Maybe a small claims court or a justice of the peace will listen to a complain filed.
I believe that a man like "rlogle" that cried his heart out embracing that poor puppy, hardly would have the guts to take it back to the "master-torturer" again!

If you can't take it back, you can always do your best to correct the damage (we really don't know the extent of it). Although there is no guarantee, the old formula "Tender Loving Care" does miracles. Maybe it was meant for you to save that puppy and build his confidence up . . . it may well be a happy ending story after all! Don't despair, you can do a lot out of your good heart if you get properly informed as to how to positively rear that puppy. Get the book I suggested to you..
