| Re: Please help first time puppy & Rott owner questions If you consider that you have taken what is pretty much a baby who is used to being surrounded and comforted by its family and plunked it down in total isolation, it should not be surprising that the little guy is crying in distress and protest.
Crate beside the bed is free bonding time. No place else smells so much like you. That smell and your presence impresses comfort and security and you don't have to do a thing but be there.
Keeping the pup in the kitchen by itself hasn't been working too well so this is just a suggestion |
