Glad I could help.

I really see what our dogs do as a testament to their working ethic - the key to their breed. A dog with a good working ethic will tie themselves into knots if they think that is what you want. Parker is happiest when he feels he's making me happy. The more I ask of him - the happier he is.

It's the bidability, the willingness, the drive to achieve - THAT to me is what makes a Rottweiler. The fact that they're in this wonderful packaging which makes that all possible is the icing on the cake.

Of course, that being said is what makes our breed a 'non-entry level dog' in Cassie Levy's words. Without knowing how to direct that will, what is the best way to harness it, giving them positive means to use their abilities - is what makes our dogs very hard to own in the wrong situations. Being dogs, they cannot choose what we would like them to do - and do to extremes in some cases.

All in all, I'm happy with how I represented our breed. It's difficult, because you're always worried that your words will be taken out of context. It makes many people not want to appear at all. But the public perception of our breed won't improve unless we do take these chances to expose them. Get them out there. Show their talents. Prove that they are incredible, wonderful dogs that people should love to have in their communties. It's worth the risk for the betterment of our breed. IMHO
