I think that is true for the superior foods. Once a pet food company is purchased by big business out goes the quality. Notice Iams and Eukanuba owned by Proctor and Gamble and some of the other foods found in your local grocery stores or pet supply places they have little nutritional value. Worse, when you compare the price of a food like Eukanuba to say Canidae your paying almost the same and look at the differences in ingredients.
