Max too has been wonderful with Luna. She has used him as a big chew toy, she takes his bones and toys, she eats from his food bowl, and he puts up with every bit of it without so much as a grumble. She has been teething pretty heavily the last few weeks and his latest act of "mothering" has been to licks her gums, sort of like a doggie french kiss. It's really kind of gross, but she seems to like it.
I swear he has been a better "momma" to her than any bitch ever could be.
