Congratulations on your soon-to-be new family member AND your decision to join this forum and learn as much as possible before you bring him home. Read everything you can so you'll be prepared to use the training methods and philosophies that best suit you and your dog. Breed aside, every dog is an individual. One word of caution, though. Please be sure your new baby has undergone all his puppy shots before joining any classes. Socialize him at home with friends and family and take him for rides in the car. If you get out of the car, please hold him rather than putting him down on the ground where he could pick something up. The same is true for the vets office. Best of luck!
