I've seen the so-called starch bones but have never tried them. Nylabone makes a couple different kinds. A really hard one for powerful chewers (which mine don't like because they can't sink their teeth into them), the softer ones for average chewers (my dogs like these cause they can chew into them and they last a long time - throw out when get small), and the edibles which come in a lot of different flavors and last about 5 minutes, regardless of the size (I don't bother with these 'cause they're too expensive - have tried in the past and they never gave my dogs the poos). I want to try raw marrow bones with Perle but Rocco couldn't tolerate them (threw up little pieces of bone all night).
