hello, my dog is now almost 7 months old, female, spayed. my question is about her new habbit of picking up young small dogs and carrying them around, we go evbery weekend now for group walks with about ten other dogs some chiuaua (sorry about the grammer) and other large dogs ages 1- 5 years her playing is better she is less of a hog with toys...... anyway. over the past two weeks when she meets a young dog say 10 weeks she will sniff and greet then without a sound she will pick the puppy up and start walking over to me with it in her mouth and gives it to me( 10 foot leash) in an on/off leash dog park. The other owner gets a little concerned

the puppy in her mouth does not make a sound and is none worse for it and i have learned to be quick enough to prevent the other person from pulling thier puppy free using their leash.
she does not do this with the dogs in our walking group nor does she do it older small dogs. i just don't know what to tell the other owner, sometimes i just want to be cheeky and point out she did not eat it , that wont help i know. I think this is normal behaviour just if someone else could help me understand this better then i will have something to tell the distressed owner of the puppy.
this has happened 3 times all different puppies under 12 weeks.
