I agree...I do take my dogs in the car with me, they love to go for rides. Car rides helped keep Charleigh sane after both her knee surgeries. BUT...I rarely leave them in the car unattended, and when I do the windows are only cracked...more for the safety of my dogs than passersby. On hot days the dogs stay home.

And to answer your question… no it’s definitely not an allowed behavior!!! Just like lunging and barking at other dogs.

Firstly I would not leave the dog in a car with the window open, and if it’s to hot in the car for the dog, leave him at home or take him with you...
