| Re: Lady-B -- wonderful memories With heartfelt thanks I appreciate your kind words. For those who passed through reading also a heartfelt thanks. Yesterday I picked up Lady's ashes from the vets. This is the first companion I could not bring home to bury. With our glacier moraine dirt, filled with rocks and clay, we would have needed a backhoe to dig a grave wide and deep enough. Small animal graves are easy but not for her royal majesty's size.
Lady's ashes will go into Puget Sound, back to the place she loved the most and had the most fun, especially trying to swim with sea lions' only mom wouldn't let her, just this once. The memories keep flooding in but with Baron and Mica I am not allowed too many moments of wallowing in grief let alone remembering. I would swear Lady gave them an edict from the bridge to keep me busy and laughing with their antics -- more like living in the moments.
Again, thank you-all for your condolences.
