| Rottweiler saves owner from fire As reported on WKBW.com. todayhttp://www.wkbw.com/morenews/morenews.asp#4
A devoted dog saved the life of a Chautauqua County man, by getting him out of a burning house.
Roy Colburn's home was leveled early yesterday and he has his 10 month old Rottweiler, BoBo, to thank for saving his life. Roy had fallen asleep on the couch and BoBo, who never barks in the house, sounded off in a frenzy until Colborn got up and smelled the smoke.
“When I come out the door, the flames were about three feet from my apartment door,” said Roy Colburn, fire victim. “He tried to get back in house when it was burning. I think, he thought my son was in there still.”
Luckily the toddler was staying at his mom's house. Roy says he's going to give BoBo a steak as a reward. Investigators have determined that the fire started in an electrical panel.
YOU GO BOBO~~~~~ :D :D :D :D :D
I watched the video that went along with this story....turns out that BoBo has a handicap. The muscles in his front ankles didn't develop correctly and he has trouble walking. The breeder wanted to put him to sleep but Mr. Colburn wouldn't allow it and took him home :D He saved BoBo's life and in turn BoBo saved his. Now that's what I call Great Rottie PR :D
