The problem is that around here, it seems to be the trend to tie your dog on a 3 foot rope, and not feed him to make him mean.. I dont understand this..
When people started hearing that I had a Rottweiler, most told me that I needed to just beat the tar out of him daily for a while to get him to respect me. When i tried to argue that I didnt want to do that to my dog, they would get mad, and inform me that I would have a killer on my hands...
Why do people want a mean dog? My dog isnt mean, yet I believe he would protect me till the end....
Another thing, Wallins, the town in the story, is the part of Harlan HEAVY in drug dealers.. It may have been that this dog was a guard dog of a crack house.. Regardless, I dont see how any human can treat an animal like this.. |
