The water temp is about 58 degrees right now, and if I don't block the steps, he will swim everytime I let him outside. Goofy dog - but when the ball is out of the pool, my sons call it his "frustration ball" because he gets so mad because he can't get his mouth around it and destroy it. We actually bought it at a flea market bird stand, it was $3! The best three bucks we've spent in a LONG time. Excellent toy for the pit - but the rottie could care less, as well as the dotted dogs......
P.S. - Even though all our dogs swim, we never leave them outside without supervision - all dogs can drown, even if you believe they could swim and get out in your absence! | i bet that jolly ball would be fun in the pool! (oh, if i only had a pool :) ). |
