I think those hard plastic balls are horrible for the dogs to play with. I've seen dogs/rottweilers bang up the front of the legs (from where they hit and push the ball around) pretty badly to where they have swelling and limps. I prefer the rubber jolly ball (although a bit less indestructible!)
