i was thinking about getting one of the one's with the handles because maverick loves to throw things around. whenever i'm in the pet store and walk past them, i always contemplate getting one... but i haven't yet. :)

luckly, maverick is not able to pick the ball up with his teeth (although there are some pretty good gashes in the side where he's tried). it amazes me how he pushes it around with the side if his face. he was cracking me up this morning because he kept growling at it as he pushed it. i think i'll go ahead and empty out some of the sand just to be on the safe side.
