Re: question about jolly ball toys

We do not have one of the hard plastic Jolly Balls. We got the Tug N Toss Jolly Ball which is meant for horses but also made for dogs. It's more of a soft rubber (which Julius needs to be supervised with) but he loves it to death. He always gets his butt a wigglin' when he sees us get it out of the car. He KNOWS then that we're going to the baseball field for some fun. :)

About your question....I would probably fill it about halfway with sand or water. When we take Julius on hikes he always insists on picking up these ENORMOUS logs & carries them up & down the mountain. I worry that it might now be good for him but he's romping up & down the trail like it's no problem at all. In my opinion I wouldn't worry about it being too much if you just fill it up half way with sand or water.....

:)
