I started Akasha in puppy agility classes when she was 12 weeks old. It was a fun class and just involved getting her used to different equipment. When she was 16 weeks old we started puppy obedience classes.
I personally feel that once they have all their shots it is good to get them into an obedience class. It is a great place for socialization.
I started obedience training with Akasha at 8 weeks old. I used strictly positive reinforcement and absolutely no corrections until she was alot older and really understood what I was asking of her.
